French Stone Washed Linen by Edition Limitee

Linen Quality

Our linen is made from 100% flax linen sourced from Normandy, France. The flax is then woven and manufactured into our products by our manufacturing partners in China. The linen is stonewashed with natural stones giving the textile a unique appearance – a very soft and comfortable, aged patina.

Unlike cotton, stonewashed linen has a softness and flexibility straight out of the package. It keeps you cool in warm weather, and is especially suitable for children with its bacteria resistant, evaporating, ventilating and moisture absorbing capabilities - ideal for those who lives in tropical climate like Singapore or suffer from allergies.

Edition Limitee linen is certified European Flax® and Oeko-Tex® . It is the guarantee of traceability for premium linen fibre grown in Europe. A natural and sustainable fibre, cultivated without artificial irrigation and GMO free.

Linen care

The care instructions are set out on the woven labels on each products.

We recommend a 40 degrees washing machine. Do not bleach, soak or dry clean.

You can line or tumble dry your linen. Tumble drying reduces the life of any fabric  - but if you are keen, a gentle tumble dry with low heat will make your linen even softer.

We do not encourage to iron your linen because we love its natural look slightly creased. So you can put them straight back on your bed once washed and dried. If you prefer ironed sheets and tablecloths, we recommend to iron the linen while it is still damp to ease the process.

Tips for tablecloths: once I placed my non ironed tablecloth on the table, I would spray water on the folding lines. Wait to dry and the table is ready to be set up with a natural creased look.

Please wash our products prior to first use.

Linen colors

Do not hesitate to mix and match the wide range of hues we are proposing. With contrast, with an harmony of colors, with warm or cool shades...

Please note, there may be slight variations in our colors between seasons. Also, it is advised to minimise direct sun exposure to avoid fading of the colors.

Sustainability

In line with my vision based on 'quality over quantity', I am concerned about the right production. Step by step we are working to minimise our waste and the use of plastic. One step during our last production was to propose our products in linen tote bags avoiding additional production of bags and allowing our clients to reuse those tote bags when travelling or grocery shopping.
